Titanic Tales, tipples & Giants Causeway
Tuesday 24th April to Friday 27th April 2018
Day 1 The first day of our tour we will travel to Cairnryan to catch our ferry to Belfast. Arriving in time for you to unpack and explore your hotel with its traditional Irish bar before your evening three course dinner.
Day 2 Today we will take you to Titanic Belfast, this museum is a must see visitor attraction, with full scale reconstructions and interactive features to tell the story of the worlds most famous ocean liner. Next we go to ‘The Crum’, opening in 1845 in Crumlin Road it was one of the most advanced prisons of its day. Although it was known as Europe’s Alcatraz there were a number of successful escapes.
Day 3 A tour and tasting today at Old Bushmills Distillery, considered to be on of the oldest licensed distilleries in the world. We will tour the distillery and experience the whiskey making process from the mixing room to the bottling plant then after a warming dram we will carry you on to the Giants Causeway, with over 40,000 interlocking basalt columns it’s no surprise it’s a world heritage site and geological wonder!
Day 4 Sadly, our last day in Ireland and we must pack up and return home. Taking amazing memories with us!
